Check-in via the Check In Qld app must be completed on entry into all True clinics and offices.

COVID-19 symptoms include: 

  • Fever
  • Cough
  • Sore throat
  • Fatigue
  • Shortness of breath
  • Runny nose
  • Diarrhoea
  • Vomiting or nausea
  • Loss of smell and/or taste

True regards the well-being of our clients and staff as a priority. True is continuing to operate in line with Government advice around COVID-19. All True Clinics are open and continue to operate as normal unless instructed otherwise by relevant authorities. Please note, True is not a general practice, we specialise in providing reproductive and sexual health services only.

If you have an upcoming clinic appointment at any of our clinics, are feeling unwell, or are experiencing COVID-19 symptoms, we ask that you call our friendly reception staff prior to your appointment. Please note depending on your circumstances, your appointment may need to be rescheduled. Telehealth may be an option for some clients.

Precautions

True continues to adhere to infectious disease protocols within all of our clinics. These include:

  • Surgical masks are to be worn by clients and visitors in any area of the clinic including reception and in all consult rooms.
  • Support persons are not permitted to attend clinics at this time.
  • Hand sanitiser is available for use at reception and in consult rooms.
  • Our staff follow strict hand hygiene guidelines.
  • No clients experiencing COVID-19 like symptoms should attend the clinic. Please phone reception prior to appointment time.
  • Any client in the clinic waiting room who starts to feel ill, must notify reception staff immediately.
  • Where possible, we request that children not be brought to the clinic.
  • All reading materials and toys have been removed from reception. 

Your assistance in complying with the protocols suggested by the Government and notifying reception of any illness, will assist us to ensure the safety and well-being of all.

True will continue to be in contact with our clients if/when the situation changes.


Statement for all clients of our True Education programs

True regards the well-being of our clients and staff as a priority. True is continuing to operate in line with Government advice around COVID-19. Your education needs will still be met by our experienced staff and many of our education services and courses are still open and will continue to operate as normal with some added protocols.

  • During moderate risk times (as defined by Qld Health), support people may be limited.
  • All visitors and clients entering the service must show proof of vaccination to staff.

True regards the well-being of our customers and staff as a priority. True remains open and is continuing to operate in line with Government advice around COVID-19 with additional protocols. 

  • Surgical masks are to be worn by all clients and visitors in any area of the service.
  • Masks and hand sanitiser are available at reception.
  • Our staff are following strict hand hygiene guidelines and additional cleaning protocols.
  • Clients who are experiencing COVID-19 like symptoms will not be permitted to attend the service.  
  • During moderate risk times (as defined by Qld Health), support people will be limited to one person per client.
  • Any support person entering the service must show proof of vaccination to staff.
  • All clients and support people will be asked to participate in a temperature check and answer screening questions.
  • During high-risk times, no support people will be allowed on site.
  • All reading materials and toys have been removed from the wait-room area.

Statement for all clients of our Cairns Sexual Assault Service

Cairns Sexual Assault Service (CSAS) regards the well-being of our clients and staff as a priority. True is continuing to operate in line with Government advice around COVID-19.

CSAS continues to provide both face-to-face and virtual therapy appointments from our Grafton Street office, Cairns (with some added protocols). Discussions around client’s individual needs for therapy will be discussed with staff prior to your appointment. CSAS has a detailed COVID-19 management plan to ensure the safety and well-being of all who access our service. Please do not bring anyone with you to your appointment without prior arrangement with your counsellor.
